(Macau, Exclusive Yogonet.com).- Days before the start of G2E Asia, Tom Loughran, Vice President, Reed Exhibitions, talked about the expectations and objectives for the show, the exhibitors that will be present, and anticipated the industry trends. “We expect over 125 exhibitors in a variety of segments,” he pointed.

How are you preparing for G2E Asia 2012? What can casino operators expect from the show?
Casino operators can expect Asia’s largest gaming event with world class education and the largest gathering of exhibitors. At G2E Asia operators will be able to preview the latest technology and new products for the gaming industry. There will be several opportunities for operators to network including the G2E Asia Welcome Reception on May 23rd and in the VIP Lounge and Visitors’ Club. Also several leading iGaming companies will be represented on the show floor.

What do you have to offer to returning and new exhibitors?
Last year attendance grew 25% to 5,748 gaming buyers from throughout Asia and internationally.  We are expecting great results again this year reflecting the tremendous growth of gaming in Asia.  Exhibitors can also expect extensive media attention; a total of 124 press people from Chinese, English, Japanese, Latin American and Portuguese media outlets covered the show.

How many exhibitors do you expect for this year?
We expect over 125 exhibitors in a variety of segments to include; slots, table games, iGaming, software, technology, security/surveillance, furniture, design, F&B/hospitality, player tracking, game signs, cash/coin handling, promotions and facilities.

What countries will have more presence among the exhibitors?
The majority of exhibitors will be from Asia, USA, Europe and Austalia.                 

What industry trends will be part of the workshops and conferences?
The G2E Asia conference provides the most comprehensive gaming education in Asia. Workshop on CCTV Surveillance Systems
- CCTV expert Vlado Damjonovski, one of the world’s most recognized CCTV experts; will be at G2E Asia 2012 to conduct an intensive and interactive workshop on CCTV surveillance systems.

The Gaming Management Certificate Program endorsed by the University of Macau and UNLV (University of Las Vegas) Singapore
- This executive program, produced in partnership with gaming professors at the University of Macau and the University of Nevada Las Vegas Singapore, includes special interactive educational workshops designed to help new casino managers in Asia further their knowledge of current gaming trends.

Global Markets Forum
- Global Markets Forum examines the economic and regulatory issues affecting current and emerging markets from a broad array of gaming jurisdictions in the pan-Asian region.

What does the Global Gaming Women (GGW) event consist of?
