“Our company experienced a record in sales in 2011”

(UK, Exclusive Once more, ISMS, a firm that focuses on the refurbishment and distribution of pre-owned slot machines for casinos and gaming establishments, was present at recent ICE show. Its Managing Director, Sam Arnold, talked about the performance of the company in 2011 and about their experience at ICE 2012.

hat are you showing here in ICE?
We have a very wide range of high-quality refurbished slot machines, from all of the major manufacturers that we represent: Aristocrat, IGT, WMS, Novomatic, Konami, Bally and Atronic. So we have a very wide range of the latest products of these manufacturers. There are used machines that we refurbish at our facility.

What is the most important market for your company in Europe?
Really, it is the Eastern Europe.

The economical situation in Europe is difficult. Is it an opportunity for your company?
Our sales in Europe are still quite steady, because the quality of the products that we are selling is high; sometimes the equipment is just one or two years old. The performance is the same, the quality is the same but there’s a big difference in the Price. So, based on the price, we think that we have a good distribution and support in Europe, and we are doing quite well in the Eastern European countries.

And considering that these are used machines, What can you tell me about the technical service?
We have two offices. One in London and the other in Latvia. And between these two offices we have a customer support, customer services, we have replacement parts and we are able to bring support to our customers.

Finally, what can you tell me about the show?
We hope to develop our already strong relationship with our customers in Europe, and we have a number of clients from other continents around the world, some from Asia and Africa, where we are also selling a lot of equipment. We are meeting with those clients, we are working with them to further develop new relationships, discussing new requirements for the 2012 and following up on any unfinished opportunities from 2011.

How was 2011 for ISMS?
Our company experienced a record in sales, so we have sold more than in previous years.
