H

ow do you evaluate Amatic’s participation in ICE?
Once again and for the last time at Earl’s Court we had our traditional stand – open and welcoming. We presented our product range that includes the brand new Performer Slant Top – available with 2 or 3 screens – and our further updated Roulette Grand Jeu Double electronic roulette.

We were very pleased with our participation. Naturally we hope that the gaming industry in general has turned the corner and operators will begin to invest more. We definitely found that operators were asking very specific questions and spent much time on our stand.

What was the synergy betweeen Amatic and its partner Amusgo? How did you work for this show?
Amusgo is our partner in Mexico. We have been working together now for several years and will again be exhibiting together at the forthcoming ELA in May. Naturally the focus is on our slots only for Mexico. We develop and manufacture purely in Austria and thus have an excellent reputation for game design, quality and machine longevity. This is being recognised more and more in Mexico and we are very much looking forward to the exhibition.

How did operators respond to the new products and innovations that you have presented?
The operators welcomed the fact that they have a very strong partner with Amatic Industries. We have been specialising in multi-game and electronic roulette for almost twenty years. It is this consistency that operators are looking for and place their trust in. Naturally operators require innovations to keep their players happy and keep them returning.

The operators were particularly pleased that we introduced innovations for both the slots and electronic roulette. The new Performer Slant Top is a real eye-catcher with its sloped design that allows up to three large 26” wide-screen monitors to be fitted. The Grand Jeu Double electronic roulette is another crowd-puller with its new design. We have understood that operators require products that stand out, are elegant, ergonomic and yet provide the necessary returns. We offer both this at Amatic Industries.

What was the business climate that you could perceive in Earls Court halls?
The business climate has definitely improved compared to last year. Operators are becoming more select. This benefits Amatic Industries as we offer such exquisite products.

What was the feedback that you received on behalf of the operators that visited your stand?
The feedback was indeed more than positive. We continual to build on our product range and provide great gaming solutions for both land-based and online gaming. The feedback given was that operators trust Amatic Industries to provide great gaming solutions that are built to last and stand out in a crowd. Naturally our games library continues to grow and the new games were very well received.

What are the next shows that you will attend to as exhibitors?
We will be supporting our partners in the forthcoming local exhibitions, for example in Ireland and Spain in March.

What do you expect for the next ICE in ExCel?
We are looking forward to the new location and have secured a great position so that our customers can easily find us. We hope that gaming will receive the political respect it deserves and that new opportunities will arise. Next year we will be celebrating 20 years in business which we will be celebrating in style at the ICE!
