Tomaz Zvipelj, firm’s CEO

“Interblock showcased in ICE its range of most advanced multi-player platform available on the market”

(UK, Exclusive Tomaz Zvipelj, CEO of Interblock, granted an interview to in which he evaluated the participation of the firm at recent ICE show. “This year's ICE gave us great encouragement towards Interblock's G4 Organic product presentation,” he said.

ow do you evaluate Interblock’s participation in ICE?
The London show is definitely one of the most important if not the most important show in the whole gaming industry, as it gives us guidelines and predictions on what will be happening in the market throughout the forthcoming year. Interblock’s participation was important because it gave us a chance to meet with our business partners in person and with our innovative design we also attracted new customers. Finally we can say that interest is back up, which hopefully will bring us good results at the end of the year.

How did operators respond to the fourth generation of G4 Organic products?
This year's ICE gave us great encouragement towards Interblock's G4 Organic product presentation, especially for the launch of the new products, G4 Organic Pulse and G4 Organic Bartop. The main advantage that casino operators could recognize is even bigger flexibility for the customers as the product will allow players to play any offered game right on the  bar countertops. In addition to the both novelties, Interblock showcased its range of most advanced multi-player platform available on the market, already well accepted on the market.

How did visitors respond to the presentation that you organised with box champion Dejan Zavec?
With our ‘Fight for the Revenue’ slogan our special guest, IBF boxing champion Dejan Zavec turned out as a great continuation of a boxing theme, which was for the first time presented at the G2E Las Vegas show at the end of 2011 with appearance of Mike Tyson. We wanted for customers to realize that we are doing the best for them in these difficult times and we also wanted to promote our Slovenian culture and its roots by representing one of our biggest sport achievements in Slovenia.

What was the business climate that you could perceive in Earls Court halls?
Meeting all our friends and business partners from the gaming industry at one place, always  is a great pleasure and motivation for the future mutual partnership.
What was the feedback that you received on behalf of the operators that visited your stand?
Interest shown from our respected clients and other casino operators was extremely optimistic. In their opinion our much larger and redesigned booth turned out as very attractive and trend-setting with more and more enthusiastic feedback from passing-by visitors every year.

What are the next shows that you will attend to as exhibitors?
Exhibitions that Interblock will be attending this year are National Indian Gaming Show in San Diego, California, Southern Gaming Summit in Mississippi, Biloxi, G2E Asia in Macao, Canadian Gaming Summit in Ontario, Canada, Interazar in Madrid, Spain, Winter games in South Africa  and last but not the least G2E Las Vegas, Nevada.

What do you expect for the next ICE in ExCel?
The unique waterfront location in the heart of London’s Royal Docks and at the same time the easy reach to the central London will give us even easier possibilities for after show business dinner receptions, hotel accommodations and other activities, which are offered by this part of London. In addition to the location we are positive that ExCel venue will offer us even more opportunities with its modern, technical and flexible infrastructure.
