Shuffle Master presents a wide range of innovations at ICE 2012

(UK).- Shuffle Master is showcasing its wide range of innovations during ICE at the Earl’s Court Exhibition Center in London. Product demonstrations are available at booth number 3450. The firm’s exhibit is demonstrating how its products are designed to deliver more profitability to casino operators and more fun and excitement to players.

With over half of our business from the international marketplace, Shuffle Master remains extremely focused on providing security and entertainment through innovation to gaming markets across the globe. Europe is certainly a key part of that focus,” said Gavin Isaacs, CEO of Shuffle Master. “This year we’re thrilled to highlight a multitude of products designed to meet the needs of our European customers, both in the live and online gaming space. We’re looking forward to a successful ICE 2012 where we’ll have the opportunity to fully demonstrate the power of our renowned brands and cutting-edge entertainment products.”

The exhibit will spotlight key innovations from the following product categories – utility products, specialty table games, e-tables, and iGaming - and will serve to highlight how Shuffle Master delivers more security through enhanced utility offerings

Its card shufflers are designed to increase table game productivity, profitability and security. The new MD3 shuffler demonstrates the advanced capabilities of the latest shuffling technology. Using proven optical card-reading technology, the MD3 scans and verifies pre-shuffled blackjack and baccarat decks right at the table. Featuring an innovative platform and gripper system, it counts and shuffles up to eight decks of cards quickly and quietly, with significantly reduced wear and tear, making cards last longer. The MD3 also features an optional on-board ticket printer that produces a receipt of the deck verification results right at the table.

Other utility offerings highlighted at the show include:

Easy Chipper D - With improved chip handling, better safety features and less moving parts, the new Easy Chipper D provides quick and accurate chip sorting, which increases the number of spins per hour. It is also enhanced with an easy to use touch-screen interface that makes it easier than ever to set the machine's features.

i-Verify - i-Verify, an LCD touch-screen display that is embedded into a felt table, provides increased security and reduces dealer training for “house way” games like Fortune Pai Gow PokerSM and Fortune San Lo PokerSM. When used in conjunction with an i-Deal shuffler, the i-Verify tells the dealer exactly how to set his or her hand, according to the prescribed house procedure.

Deck Checker – The latest Deck Checker has been re-engineered and updated with all new components, including touch-screen controls and Shuffle Master's proven optical card recognition technology. This product provides a fast, effective alternative for customer’s card verification needs by checking and verifying up to eight decks of cards in less than 2 minutes. It is also able to Identify missing, extra or unknown cards.

More access to content with Shuffle InteractiveSM
Front and center at the booth, Shuffle Interactive highlights its strong brands and compelling content leveraged across multiple online and mobile devices. Superior quality, security and accessibility are standard on all Shuffle Master online and mobile games. The Shuffle Interactive platform seamlessly integrates into any online casino or third-party platform and can deliver content through nearly any device including PC, Mac, Betting Terminals, iOS and Android. Shuffle Interactive will formally launch in the coming months with free-to-play and for-wager versions of Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em; however, demonstrations of its advanced capabilities will be available in the booth during the show.

More cutting-edge technology with New i-Table Innovations
All i-Table games on display at ICE feature richer, more intuitive graphic interfaces tied together with compelling new content. The i-Table game’s automated betting and wager resolution process dramatically increases game security, accuracy and speed, resulting in more rounds per hour while eliminating errors, a key advantage on specialty table games that have complex paytables with high odds and complicated payouts. The i-Table can also connect to back-of-house player tracking systems that allow casino customers to rate, track, and comp their player base. The i-Table products on display at ICE include:

i-Table Roulette - Expanding upon its i-Table platform, Shuffle Master presents the i-Table Roulette, which features a roulette table with a live wheel, ball and dealer, and has an identical footprint to a traditional table. It provides all the added functionality and benefits of electronic wagering. I-Table Roulette has a graphically-enhanced central display screen replicates a felt layout, and virtual betting stations resolve all bets accurately and instantaneously. Spins per hour are significantly increased virtually eliminating errors while more than doubling table productivity. This roulette has stunning graphics, intuitive interface and inherent game-integrity enhance the experience for both the player and the dealer.

Bad Beat BonusSM for i-Table Specialty Games – Shuffle Master presents Bad Beat Bonus for i-Table Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Bad Beat Bonus is the first side bet for i-Table Ultimate Texas Hold’em and allows the player to be paid odds if either the player or the dealer loses with three-of-a-kind or better.

King’s BountySM for i-Table - The new King’s Bounty side bet for i-Table Blackjack makes its debut at the show. King’s Bounty allows players to get paid odds for any total of 20 on their first two cards. It will join two of Shuffle Master’s other blackjack side bets on i-Table – Royal Match 21 and Bet the Set “21”. Because all wagers are reconciled simultaneously with little to no downtime or errors, the i-Table platform allows for seamless integration of multiple side bets.

More advances in progressive technology for Specialty Table Games
This year’s exhibit also features a progressive version of Four Card Poker. Chip sensors embedded in the table allow players to place an optional jackpot wager to potentially win fixed prizes or a continuously incrementing progressive jackpot. Progressive tables within a single property can be linked using Shuffle Master’s Game Manager software.

More efficiency through Electronic Wagering
Combining a live dealer and a touch-screen electronic betting interface, the Rapid line of electronic table systems significantly increases game security and productivity. Rapid Multigame is the latest enhancement to the Rapid platform and includes a multigame feature that gives players the flexibility to choose which Rapid game – Baccarat, Roulette, or Sic Bo – they would like to play on their terminal, without ever having to leave their seat. Enhanced live statistics are available at the touch of a button and seamless betting can be conducted across multiple games. With the capability to accommodate over 300 terminals per table and up to 6 tables of each game type, betting limits can be easily configured to suit each betting position.
