ICE organizers move website due to unprecedented volume of traffic

(UK).- Interest in the forthcoming ICE Totally Gaming show is at an all time high, according to the analytics supplied by organizers Clarion Events. The data shows that in December, traffic to was 150 % higher than at the same stage of the 2010 marketing campaign.


avid Bishop, Digital Brand Development Manager at Clarion said the volume of traffic was unprecedented. He stated, “There has been a massive spike in the volume of traffic as gaming professionals plans their visit to the exhibition. Following the Department Of Justice ruling we had a surge of additional interest from the United States, which has been sustained in January.”

“To respond to the massive interest in the exhibition we made the decision to migrate the ICE website to a special server which can accommodate the traffic levels we are experiencing. This level of interest augurs extremely well for the show,” he concluded.
