Peter and Dimitri Palexas, owners of this casino group, bought the machines basically due to the good experience and performance they had in the Mexican market. They have already purchased 50 EGT machines for this month in Mexico and another eight for their Peruvian operations, without considering the ones already operating in Lima and Iquitos.
“The EGT machine has the advantage of being much more economic than the most famous brands in the market and it has similar or superior results, so the benefit-to-cost ratio is much more profitable. Its versatile multi-game option gives the customer the chance to change the game without moving from his chair. Besides, it has all the advantages of any other machine,” according to Edgar Paz, Director of Legendary Gaming Group.
Casino Fortuna, under the management of its Manager of Operations, Manuel Álvarez, has already confirmed the acquisition of 16 EGT machines, which are already in Lima and will be installed in the upcoming days.
Eduardo and Andrés Zalaquett, owners of the group Casinos New York, Casino Miami, Casino Allegre and Casino Aladin in Lima, will be installing the first EGT machines in its casinos, as soon as the second shipment arrives at the end of January.
SAGSA Group (South American Gaming), one of the most representative casino operators in the Peruvian market, is negotiation to put to trade in the market for three months an important quantity of this product to check its profitability compared to other machines.
Edgar Paz indicated that he has absolute confidence in the performance and result of EGT, due to the fact that this machine has always been beyond the average of the gambling venues in Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela, that’s why he is convinced that the same will happen in Peru.
“Very few companies bring the option to try a machine before buying it. We do it because we know the results of the product we are offering”, he added. “The first 80 EGT machines are still arriving this month and are already placed. Our aim is to bring 500 EGT machines in 2012 in Peru”, he concluded.
