Beveridge and Rees to be CEO and Fair Gaming Advocate respectively

eCOGRA restructures board

(UK).- Independent player protection and standards body eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) has announced that it has implemented a restructuring of its board of directors.

COGRA stated that the restructure will ‘streamline’ its board following its recent management buyout to ‘reflect the company's current ownership’ and see Michael Hirst, Bill Galston and Frank Catania leave as Non-Executive Directors from December 31.

The new board of directors for eCOGRA will be comprised of Andrew Beveridge and Tex Rees serving as the firm‘s Chief Executive Officer and Fair Gaming Advocate respectively.

“I am very grateful to Michael, Bill and Frank for their enormous contribution in helping to establish eCOGRA as a pre-eminent independent remote gambling standards body and testing agency and steering the company to its new-found status,” said Beveridge. “I look forward to the next chapter of our growth as we set out to use our exceptional and unrivalled experience in providing services to jurisdictions while maintaining our unique eCOGRA seal assuring player protection on approved sites.”
