To establish a formal basis for cooperation on sharing information

Isle of Man agrees deal with Danish regulator

(Isle of Man / Denmark).- The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission regulator has announced that it has agreed the terms of a unique bilateral cooperation arrangement with its Danish Gambling Authority counterpart.

S

imilar to the deal the Danish Gaming Authority finalised in July with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, this new agreement will see the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission establish a formal basis for cooperation with the Danish regulator for the purpose of sharing information.

The agreement will come into effect upon the formal implementation of the Danish Gaming Act and is only the latest in a growing trend of information sharing concords, which are also known as memorandums of understanding, that have been signed by member states of the European Union and their neighbouring open markets as demonstrated by France’s Autorite de Regulation des Jeux en Ligne (ARJEL) and Italian Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS).
