artin Burlin, EAG Expo’s Chairman confirmed a promising start to preparations for the 2012 event: “Forward bookings are excellent with over 76% of stand space already taken and all of last year’s large stand holders rebooking for 2012.
He said: “London has hosted a major amusement exhibition in the last week of January for over 70 years and we see this response as the industry’s endorsement of EAG International’s perfect timing for those wishing to view the latest innovations and to place orders for the coming season”.
“Our organising team are putting the finishing touches to a highly topical seminar programme and in response to requests from exhibitors we have fine-tuned opening times to allow both exhibitors and visitors to fully benefit from the networking opportunities also presented by the show,” he announced.
EAG International will be further supporting exhibitors with its largest ever marketing investment. The recently enlarged marketing and communications team will be continuously updating over 90 international publications with the latest developments. Expo press partners will carry bulletins and features as show preparations build and a direct marketing campaign will deliver over 15,000 brochures and invitations.
Martin Burlin explained the reasoning behind this increase in activity saying: “Our marketing investment is aimed at delivering results for exhibitors. Not only will we be syndicating information about the show and the nearby amenities, but also newsworthy stories about exhibitors and their products as they are the true owners of the show and the reasons for its continuing success.
“More announcements will follow but we urge everyone to ensure that 24th-26th January is indelibly marked in their diary and to keep an eye on the trade press for announcements about online registration,” he concluded.
