(India).- According to local sources, the state tourism department has constituted a committee that will categorize, re-categorize and fix rates for hotels and casinos operating in Goa's tourist areas.

(India).- According to local sources, the state tourism department has constituted a committee that will categorize, re-categorize and fix rates for hotels and casinos operating in Goa's tourist areas.

To categorize hotels and casinos under the A, B and C categories, the tourism department has formed a committee headed by the tourism director.

Members on the committee will include representatives of hotels and restaurants association, principal of the institute of hotel management and catering technology at Porvorim, representative of the travel agents association, representative of travel and tourism association of Goa and representative of the Goa tourism development corporation, Panaji.
