nder the new agreement, all standalone Triple 7 B3 machines in Mecca’s bingo gaming areas will be fully networked, and will benefit from unlimited access to an extensive library of quality game content, all delivered by Barcrest Group’s newly upgraded server-based gaming system, VERTEX. This agreement builds on the success of Barcrest Group’s B3 gaming product in Mecca’s AGC areas where it is currently deployed and delivering strong results for both parties.
Tim Kennedy, Sales & Commercial Director, explained: “We are delighted to be supporting Mecca Bingo with its expansion of category B3 gaming. This new initiative will allow both parties to fully maximise the opportunity for new B3 £2 games deployment now that the new legislation is in place.”
In addition to this agreement, selected Mecca clubs will also showcase the spectacular new product, Rainbow Riches Community Cash, a multiplayer product in the new Triple 7 Encore cabinet, with the community game displayed on three 55” screens using amazingly lifelike video graphics. Mecca Bingo in Oldbury, West Midlands, one of its flagship ‘full-house’ venues, was the first bingo club to receive the new game.
Mohammed Zabed, Head of Amusement, commented: “This new Rainbow Riches Community game, with its larger-than-life presence, has immediately become the shining star in our Oldbury club. The customers love it and are queuing up to play. It’s not only a popular game in its own right, it is also proving to be a great draw for the gaming area and venue as a whole.”
Commenting on the new agreement, Mark V Jones, Mecca Bingo Managing Director explained: “We are excited about this new initiative with Barcrest Group and the new opportunities it will open up for us. The new B3 products will engage our players and elevate Mecca Bingo’s gaming offer to a whole new level.”
