“Bally continues to grow with every G2E Asia show”

(Macau, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Cath Burns, VP and Managing Director of Asia Pacific, Bally Technologies, talked about the performance of the company at recent G2E Asia event, in which Bally launched a number of new and innovative products for the Asian customers. “Macau is very competitive and competition drives innovation. We are learning from Macau every day”, she pointed.

hat novelties for the Asian market did Bally introduce during recent G2E Asia edition?
This was a great show for Bally. We launched a number of new and innovative products for our Asian customers. The new state of art Pro Series cabinet, iDeck, new curved LCD display – Code Red and our Asian Themed Mystery Progressive Link Golden Empire were some of the highlights.

Table games are traditionally very popular in Asia. What does Bally offer to operators in this segment?
Tables are the biggest revenue generating segment of the Macau market. Bally offers Table systems – CMP and Tableview that have been modified to meet the rigourous demands of the Asian market. Our Table systems include the ability to manage junkets, VIP and Premium players. We have our Table systems in operation at Galaxy Starworld, Galaxy Macau, L’arc, Oceanus, Casino Lisboa and Grand Lisboa.

Bally is worldwide recognized as a leading provider of innovative gaming systems. What did the company present at its stand during the show?
We had our full complement of systems on display at the show including our core casino management, table management and slot managements systems. Our innovative player focused Bonusing systems – Elite Bonusing including Virtual Racing, Tournaments and USpin. Our media management system CoolSign. Our Bally Enterprise Progressive system – BEPS and our Server Based Gaming system Bally Command Center.

How did you see the show this year?
It was a great show this year. We had a wide array of products to offer our customers in both our systems and games businesses. The interest from customers from all over Asia was high. Asia continues to be an exciting growing market.

Which is the final balance you can make about Bally's presence in G2E Asia this year?
Bally continues to grow with every G2E Asia show we are focused on continually improving our products for the market. We are honored to be a part of the gaming landscape in Asia and a part of the extraordinary growth of Macau.

Recent statistic numbers state that Macau is currently the biggest gaming market in the world. Do you agree?
Based on revenue Macau is the biggest gaming in the world by a long way.

How do you see Macau's market? Is there still place to growth? 
I think the Macau market is still growing. The recent opening of Galaxy Macau added critical mass to Cotai. You can really see the Cotai strips evolution into a mass market destination. Galaxy Macau is a great complement to City of Dreams and the Sands China properties on the Cotai strip.

With operations worldwide and presence in all the international markets, how important is Asia in general and Macau in particular for Bally?
Macau is critical to Bally worldwide. It is the biggest gaming market in the world. I helps us to make us better as a company. It challenges us to continue to provide products that help our customers manage their business and also provide products that their customers want to enjoy and play. Macau is very competitive and competition drives innovation. We are learning from Macau every day.
