ammegh is worldwide recognized for its state of the art roulette wheels. In a market where table games are so popular, how did visitors and clients receive the company's products at the show?
In the 6 years Cammegh has exhibited at G2E Asia, it has got better and better each year. In Macau, roulette is a secondary live game when compared to baccarat, but in other parts of Asia, roulette is extremely popular. The work we have done recently in Singapore, Philippines, India and Australia, to name but four has been received very well from our customers, and this was evident in their appraisal of our products and their enthusiasm to continue using our roulette wheels and displays.
How did you see the show this year? Which is the final balance you can make about Cammegh's presence in G2E Asia this year?
G2E Asia 2011 was a great success, whilst we generated many enquiries we also took orders direct from the stand. As for a final balance, it is difficult to say, but our customers appreciate the engineering and quality of our products and by the time all our enquires have been settled, I am sure the show will return a substantial gain on where we were before. G2E Asia has a firm place in our exhibition calendar. Such was the positive nature of the response, it would be inconceivable not to attend the show.
Recent statistics state that Macau is currently the biggest gaming market in the world. Do you agree? How do you see Macau's market?
Macau is a phenomenal gaming market, for someone passionate about live gaming, it is wonderful to see the table action there. It appears to go from strength to strength, without apparent let up. There seemed to be more gaming activity on the floor when compared to last year, which is impressive as the number of casinos continues to grow. There are plans for expansion at the Venetian and new properties on the way, so going forward it seems that the supply will be keeping up with the undeniable demand. It is a very, very exciting place to ply our trade.
How important is Macau in particular and Asia in general for Cammegh within its business plan?
Macau is a very important to Cammegh, we have invested in exhibiting our world leading products there for 6 years, and during that time we have built some substantial relationships not only in Macau, but the wider Asian market as well. Following our success at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, we have been able to cross fertilize our relationships with American operators in Nevada, where we are now a licensed manufacturer and distributor. So without doubt, our presence in Macau is very much part of our global marketing strategy.
What can you tell us about future products development of the company? Are you planning on new releases?
At Cammegh, research and development is central to our company direction, and new ideas and product enhancements are always being explored. Going forward we are looking to bring additional side bets to roulette, where operators can add excitement and optimize productivity making use of the unique features exclusive to the Mercury 360 roulette wheels. So it is a very exciting time at Cammegh right now.
