Bally eyeing to build up presence in new projects in Cotai

(Macau).- Slot-machine maker Bally Technologies is looking to secure 20 % of the total slot machine orders for Sands China’s parcels five and six, in Cotai. “We would hope to get 18-20 % of that order, and from our performance base that is pretty much what we deserve of that slot floor,” Cath Burns, VP of Bally’s Asia operations, told Reuters last week.

ccording to Ms Burns, Bally is also in talks with Wynn Macau, SJM Holdings and MGM China Holdings, which are waiting for government approval for their upcoming Cotai properties.

“Going forward for the rest of this year and next year, we see continued growth coming out of Macau. Singapore’s two integrated resorts have been very successful for us. We have had repeat orders and we see that growing,” Burns said.
