(Macau, Exclusive Andrew Cammegh, Director of Cammegh, granted an interview to to talk about the expectations and objectives that the firm has for upcoming G2E Asia. He commented about the products that the firm will present at the show and about Cammegh strategies for the Asian market.


hat are your expectations and objectives for G2E Asia?
Over the last 5 years, we have experienced substantial growth in terms of market share in Asia, including supplying City of Dream’s and Altira Casino in Macau, and Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. Owing to the success of these respective installations, plus many more in the region can expect to continue to grow our customer base as well as build on those excellent relationships we have already established.

Will the firm launch new products focused on the Asian market? Which are their main features?
We will be exhibiting the Mercury 360, Slingshot 2 and the Billboard Displays, but we will also be previewing a bonus payout and progressive jackpot feature we are currently developing.

Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
G2E Asia never fails to showcase new gaming devices, particularly in the automated arena and I fully expect to see more this year. For Cammegh however, we are looking forward to meeting up with international customers seeking to fulfill the gaming mix their clientele demand, for us that means showcasing our world leading manual and automatic roulette wheels.

How important is Macau's market for your company?
Macau and the Asian market in general is very important to Cammegh. We are proud of our customer base in Macau as well as the wider Asian market, and see it as an essential sector of our market reach, and our commitment to G2E Asia reflects this.

Macau is currently considered the leading international gaming market surpassing Las Vegas. Do you think that it is a market with options to keep on growing?
Without doubt. We have already seen a shift of emphasis with Galaxy, Macau, looking to cater for China’s growing middle classes. The high end market is already extremely well served in Macau, and I believe the growth area will be in catering for quality volume gaming.

As operators from different Asian countries visit G2E in Macau, which is your strategy for the Asian market in general?
Same as always; delivering technically advanced, security focused, high end quality products with a robust commitment to customer support and a friendly, professional service.
