Unidesa appoints Martin Canepa as Sales Manager in Uruguay

(Uruguay) .- Unidesa Gaming & Systems recently informed that Martin Canepa is the new Sales Manager of the company in Uruguay. Canepa is a renowned lawyer in the gaming and entertainment sector that has a wide experience of more than 20 years in the industry.

urrently, Canepa is dedicated to consulting firms in business communication, as well as the development of racetracks, casinos and establishment of companies in Uruguay, an activity that will further develop and that is close to his new commercial responsibility Unidesa.

 

Previously, he served as Counselor in Trilenium and was also responsible for the construction of Casino de Tigre, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In addition, he was responsible for other duties as the National Maroñas Racetrack recovery and implementation of four electronic casinos which grouped a total of 1,400 slot machines

 

Among other positions that prove his success in the gaming industry, can me mentioned: President of Asociación Latinoamericana de Juegos de Azar (1995-2003), President of Hípica Rioplatense Uruguay (2002-2006), President of Codere Uruguay (2004-2008), and Vice-Chair of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Jockey Clubs e Hipódromos (2005-2008).

 

During his career he has worked closely on projects linked to racetracks such as the recovery of Presidente Remon racetrack in Panama and the introduction of international simulcasting in Brazil for the Racecourses in Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul and Tarumá. In addition, he handled the incorporation of Uruguay and Panama to the world equestrian highest authority: the International Federation of Horse Racing Authorities.

 

Canepa was a speaker at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas and in the International Federation of Horse Racing Authorities. After his appointment, he said his main project in Uruguay is to re-positiont new Unidesa roller video, multiprogressives and poker machines.
