The news came just days after PokerStars, the worlds biggest online poker room, announced that they would be teaming up with Wynn Resorts to form PokerStarsWynn.com which could allow PokerStars to legally take US players if regulations were put in place.
Legalisation could take a matter of months or could drag on for a number of years to come but the inking of partnerships between the online world and land based casinos is a promising sign that regulation could be around the corner.
Full Tilt has recently announced an a brand new event, the Onyx Cup, which is set to take place just before the WPT Championship with an eye-watering buy-in of US$ 100,000 and it would seem the event will take place in one of the 18 Station Casino establishments in Vegas, but this is yet to be confirmed.
