hy has Aristocrat decided to enter into the online world?
Legitimate online gaming is a growing part of our industry and we believe our games can be a significant part of this space. We have a diverse range of quality slot content that has been developed by some of the most experienced and innovative game designers globally for the competitive land based casino market. Importantly, our classic games have proven maths models, tested through millions of game spins and are very popular with players in the key casino markets. As the online gaming market matures, players are seeking more sophisticated, quality slot games and our goal is to bring the world’s greatest casino slot games to online players.
Why did you choose GameAccount Network as partner? What market are your main focuses for this year?
We currently work with two experienced online gaming partners: NextGen Gaming and GameAccount Network. We are focused on working with our partners to bring our content to the leading online operators in the European markets, primarily the UK, Ireland, Spain and we are also monitoring the changing regulations in Italy.
In 2010 we began working with NextGen Gaming, also head-quartered in Sydney, to bring our first games online. Through this partnership, we already have four of Aristocrat’s classic titles available to play online at Bet365: Queen of the Nile II, Zorro, Lucky 88 and Where’s the Gold. An additional two titles, Big Ben and Red Baron, will be available in May.
A key part of our strategy was also to work directly with a robust platform provider to host and serve our games. GameAccount Network provides this as well as access to established relationships with trusted, blue chip online operators.
We are now working closely with GameAcount Network to bring an initial suite of eight titles onto their platform, including classics such as 50 Lions, Dolphin Treasure, Miss Kitty and More Chilli. More Chilli is currently our best performing game title in several key casino markets, including North America.
We’re confident our carefully selected games will transfer well to online play; we’ve optimised the games for the online player base and they should be as equally popular with the European online players.
Are you planning to develop games exclusively for Internet?
Our immediate priority is to provide operators with proven, quality content with recognisable brands. Also, in the near future we plan to launch new innovative games to the land based casino market and the online market simultaneously.
What is the business strategy applied by Aristocrat for the trade fairs that will take place this year?
Aristocrat displays its range of gaming products at all the major gaming trade fairs. This year our customers will see our online offerings for the first time.
What did Aristocrat display at Enada trade show in Italy?
Aristocrat had its Viridian Gen7 product operating on our TruServ VLT system on the Cogetech stand at the Enada show this month. Key titles such as 50 Lions are performing well in the newly opened Italian VLT market and we hope to bring new game content to this market in the coming months.
What could you anticipate about FER-Interazar?
We will be showing our existing high performing games Big Red, Queen of the Nile and Dolphin Treasure at FER Interazar in addition to launching two new titles for the Spanish market: Mystic Mermaid and Wicked Winnings
How will be the deal with GameAccount Network reflected in these two shows, Enada and FER-Interazar?
GameAccount Network and Aristocrat are most focused at the moment in deploying the new games to market. We do not have specific joint plans for FER-Interazar, although those at the Aristocrat stand will be happy to discuss our games portfolio for both land-based and online play.
