(UK, Exclusive Yogonet.com). - George Steiner, Amatic Industries’ Sales and Marketing Director, granted an interview to Yogonet.com in which he spoke about the products that the firm showcased in ICE 2011, his expectations and goals for the coming months and made a balance about the show.

ave you launched new products in London?

 

 

The ICE is the ideal platform to launch new products to the international gaming market and the Amatic Industries stand was full of innovations. We launched the new slot machine series called ‘Performer’. The first member of the Performer family is the Performer C22 upright cabinet, extremely elegant, ‘made in Austria’ with full focus on casino flair and great technology. The games library has been further strengthened by a number of new arrivals, such as Bells on Fire, Casanova and Wild Shark. The electronic roulettes Grand Jeu 22WS and Grand Jeu Double also received their international debut at the ICE. Furthermore, we introduced our Grand X online gaming platform.

 

What stands out from your participation this year? How did the public respond?

 

 

Amatic Industries is well respected in the industry as a pioneer in Multi Game. The public response reflected this, especially with the new Performer C22. Furthermore, the new electronic roulettes were particularly well received.

 

How do you evaluate ICE 2011?

 

 

The exhibition was better attended than last year and visitors were more upbeat. We were very pleased with ICE.

 

How do you see the industry for this year? What was the scenario that you could perceive in Earls Court?

 

 

We naturally hope that the industry is back to growth mode and the interest shown at the stand of Amatic Industries clearly reflected this.

 

What are your most important markets in Europe?

 

 

Based in the heart of Europe, Amatic Industries is ideally placed to support European gaming markets. Amatic Industries is well know and respected in a whole number of countries in Europe, such as Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

 

What does Latin America represent for your company?

 

 

Amatic has a number of partners in Latin America and is becoming more and more popular with players there.


Which are your plans for 2011?

 

 

Naturally, the most important goal is to continue to serve our ever-growing customer base. The extensive product portfolio and excellent Austrian quality makes a large presence at ICE. Naturally, we will be focusing on the integration of our new products and innovations with our existing and new customers. By the way, we are already active in smart phone gaming: our popular game Billy’s Gang has been available as an App on iTunes already since last year and has been downloaded many thousands of times.
