Now that ICE 2011 has finished. Which is the balance you can make about Money Controls participation on it? Was it in line with your expectations?

 

We found ICE to be a very successful show for Money Controls. We had predicted increased visitor numbers compared with last year and were pleased with the number of visitors to our stand over the three days.

 

How did you see the show?

 

We felt there was an overall feeling of optimism from the industry as a whole at this year’s show, which perhaps had been missing in 2010.

 

What products did the company exhibit or release during the show?

 

ICE was the first chance for Money Controls to exhibit in the UK as part of the Crane Payment Solutions group. As well as exhibiting our own cutting-edge products, including the Ardac Elite bill validator, we also showed the group’s wider product range including the CashCode Bill-to-Bill 60 bill recycler, NRI G-13 coin validator and NRI G-38 coin hopper. We also focused on security by demonstrating Money Controls’ ccTalk DES encrypted products.

 

Which was the feedback received by visitors and clients?

 

Feedback from all visitors to Money Controls’ stand, including that of existing clients, was very positive. It was nice to meet with customers and colleagues from across the globe and share with them our extended portfolio.

 

Which are the plans in the short term for Money Controls after recent announced acquisition by Crane?

 

We are excited about moving forward with Crane Co, both in the UK and across the globe. Although we will be retaining the Money Controls brand, which has a strong identity and an excellent reputation, we will now be part of a larger unified group.  

 

This includes a united team to support our customers in all functional groups including sales, customer service, operations, and technical support. By combining our expertise and extensive experience, we can design and deliver high performance state-of-the art payment management systems globally.
