nthony Toti, Chief Operating Officer for Black Gaming, said: “We are very pleased with our decision to replace our previous casino management system with KCMS. It was crucial to our operations to be able to implement a one-card patron loyalty solution across our two properties, and Konami was able to deliver this to us with its advanced technology”.
“We are excited to be entering into an ongoing partnership with Black Gaming”, added Sam Constantino, System Sales Director for Konami Gaming. “Black Gaming has selected every module of KCMS to manage their entire operations of over 1,600 gaming machines and 30 table games, and they will be able to utilize the impressive marketing features of KCMS to deliver a true one-card solution to their guests, and to enhance their player experience with innovative bonusing and promotional campaigns.”
Tim Rambo, Director of Casino Operations for Black Gaming, said: “The attentiveness of the Konami team has really stood out to us during our entire systems replacement project. We were surprised at first when the firm was able to convert the entire floor of our Virgin River Casino, with over 800 machines, in less than 12 hours. But then they did it again two weeks later at CasaBlanca! KCMS is by far the most robust system we have worked with. System conversions can sometimes be complicated, but when KCMS was turned on for the first time, it simply worked.”
Black Gaming is now utilizing KCMS to manage its slot machines and table games, ticket-in/ticket-out (TITO), cashiering, cage, player loyalty tracking and player marketing activities. And, pending regulatory approval, Black Gaming will also offer Konami’s unique floor-wide progressive jackpot bonus game called LotABucks to all of its carded patrons at both casinos in order to drive increased visitation and rewards club membership.
KCMS is an industry-leading casino management system with an increasing number of installations spanning America, Canada, Australia as well as other international regions. It is best known for its advanced capabilities, such as its event-driven Ethernet-based technology, multi-channel in-machine streaming video, customizable rules-based Bonusing, true multigame, multi-denomination analytics and documented high availability.
In addition to KCMS, Black Gaming has opted to place 100 new Konami slot machines on their floor, including a selection of the latest Podium, Advantage 5 and Advantage Revolution games.
Steve Sutherland, EVP and Chief Operating Officer for Konami, concluded: “Our newly strengthened systems and games partnership with Black Gaming is a significant one for Konami. We are committed to ensuring that it becomes a long-term success for both of our companies.”
