(Macau).- Talks to end the family dispute over control of Stanley Ho’s casino empire fell apart, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a statement by his lawyer. Stanley Ho instructed his law firm of Oldham, Li & Nie to carry out his wishes regarding the holding company, Lanceford, the Journal said, citing the statement. Ho’s SJM Holdings controls about 30 % of the casino market in the Chinese city of Macau, the newspaper said. Macau is the only part of China where casinos are legal.
