The Billsensor is now under the Bank of England framework

Azkoyen has successfully tested its banknote validator

(UK).- The Billsensor has successfully passed all the test processes required by the Bank of England. The Bank has introduced a voluntary framework to test cash handling solutions and find out its capability to automatically decide whether a banknote is counterfeit or genuine. Only successful manufacturers and their products have been published on this site for the first time.

Due to the innovative DSP technology of the Billsensor, it has been successfully tested for all known counterfeit types, and subsequently identified all true and fraudulent notes.”

The Billsensor has been specially designed with digital technology to ensure the highest level of security for those markets where security and counterfeit detection are a critical factor: These include the banking, retail and amusement sectors.

The Bank describes this listing as the results of collaboration between the Bank and individual manufacturers in testing products submitted that is both effective and meaningful.
