hat are your expectations and objectives for ICE?
We are looking for an exciting upcoming ICE 2011 show. As Konami Gaming continues to grow its International footprint the ICE show becomes increasingly important for us to sustain and further this growth.  We look forward to the show as a useful tool to show the European market our latest products as well as interact and meet with current customers and develop new ones.

Will the firm launch new products?  What are their main characteristics?
One of the exclusive products that Konami Gaming will be showcasing is Beat the Field, a 4-level (maxi, mega, major and mini) linked, community style mystery progressive.  This horse-themed race gives patrons the feeling of being a at a real horse track. Domestically we have launched Beat the Field and have much success with the product. Customers enjoy the horse racing theme of the game as well as the community aspect of the game encourages increase play. Another new product will be Pirate’s Jackpot which is a stand-alone, 2-level (maxi and mini) mystery progressive with an additional bonus prize is sure to entertain customers.

In your opinion, what will be this edition’s main challenge?
ICE is a very well known and established trade show, so I do not believe the organization is facing any significant challenge. I see a challenge for the operators, as the economy is not improving, they are very focus in running their business, and they might not be willing to take a few of their key employees to go to ICE. This would be a pity for us, as we are bringing to the show some innovative and creative solutions, that for sure would help them to improve their business, even during these difficult times for the industry.

Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
As ICE is just a few months after G2E, I do not expect to see something very different. I believe we will see the same trends we saw at G2E.

Konami during G2E showcased several products for the European market, as we had confirmation that several of the key operator from Europe would be attending the show. So for ICE we will keep the same trend.

What are your main products for the coming months?
We feel that Beat the Field and Pirate’s Jackpot will be very important products for us as we have been very successful in other places we launched them a little earlier. We will also launch the Advantage Revolution in a few months. And we are very confident that it will cause a revolution in the European market.
