The firm said the committee planned to instruct the company to close its Casino Palace operation for 30 days in response to a decrease in the number of gaming tables as at August 2010.

The Casino Palace annual license was renewed in September. No formal notice had yet been received. Queenco said that on receipt of such notice, Queen Investments would act to remove the punitive fine immediately. The company estimated that the fine would have no substantial impact on its financial results nor on Casino Palace's license. The shares were up 0.45 euros at 4.95 euros.
