Exhibitors and visitors to experience the future of gaming at ICE 2011

(UK).- Touch, feel and embrace the future of gaming is the invitation being extended to the 20,000-plus visitors expected to attend January's ICE show at London's Earls Court Exhibition Centre (January 25-27). The event will occupy some 20,000 sqm of stand space from where more than 400 exhibitors will participate and expected 2,000 new products will be launched.

ate Chambers, ICE show director said: "We've got the biggest names in gaming, the best innovators in gaming, and the smartest names in gaming. We know that there will be thousands and thousands of new products launched – that's why exhibitors invest in attending the show after all. We've also got seven unmissable conferences dealing with crucial issues such as how gaming operators can use social media to engage with a younger audience and retain customers. No other gaming show in the world can come anywhere near the geographical spread of exhibitors present at ICE or the diversity of the gaming experience that's on offer; quite simply all the evidence demonstrates there is no other place in the world that gaming operators can or indeed should be come January."

The show's reputation for being at the cockpit of gaming innovation is borne out by the roll call of marquee exhibitors which includes Abbiati, Advansys, Ainsworth, Alfastreet, Amatic  Industries, Apex Gaming, Aristocrat Technologies. Atronic International, Astro Corp, Bally Technologies, Barcrest Group, Belatra,, Betsoft Gaming, Betstone, Buzz Sports, Casino Technology, Chartwell Games, Continent 8 Technologies, Cryptologic, Cyberarts Licensing, Dragonfish, Edict, Elektroncek, Entraction, Eurocoin, Euro Games Technology, Evolution Gaming, Gigames, Global Draw / Games Media, Gold Club, GPI, Greentube, GTech G2, IGT-Europe, Inspired Gaming, Isle of Man Government, JPM International, Kambi Sports Solutions, Konami Gaming, Mazooma Games, Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority, MediaLive Casino. Meridianbet / 2db, Merkur Gaming, Microgaming, Net Entertainment, Novomatic-Austrian Gaming Industries, Ongame Network, Openbet, Playtech, play4win / wettpunkt, Recreativos Franco, SIS, Smartbetting Czech Republic, States of Alderney / Alderney Gambling, Suzo, TAB Austria, TCSJohnHuxley, Unidesa-Cirsa, VNE, Wirecard Technologies, WMS Gaming and Zest Gaming, among others

Added to this there are more than 60 companies making their debut appearances at ICE, providing a perfect balance of seasoned and new exhibitors. Summarising the ICE proposition, Kate Chambers concluded: "ICE exhibitors are coming to London in their hundreds, to do one thing and that's win business. The 20,000 or so visitors who come to ICE each year from 100-plus jurisdictions know that this expo delivers an unrivalled opportunity to meet-up with old friends and see the brand new technology that's shaping the future of gaming. ICE allows them to be at the vanguard of the gaming revolution."

The show delivers unique cross-over opportunities. Exhibition visitors will be able to take advantage of significant cross-over opportunities which remain totally unique to ICE. No other b2b gaming exhibition in the world can boast sectors devoted to casino, online, remote, street, betting, bingo and lottery – thereby allowing buyers to establish contacts and see the latest trends impacting the world of gaming at a single venue.

The return of Recreativos Franco to Earls Court illustrates the strong cross-over that exists between casino and street gaming. Other leading names with a strong interest in low stake high volume gaming include APEX Gaming Europe, Barcrest Group, Unidesa-Cirsa, The Global Draw, TAB Austria, JPM International, Zest Gaming, Inspired Gaming Group and Mazooma Games. ICE Online/Remote comprises 140 exhibitors drawn from 36 sovereign jurisdictions and occupying 4,500 square metres.

The Racing Post has confirmed that it will be adopting a high-profile presence at January’s ICE exhibition to thank the industry for its support in 2010, and to wave the flag for the betting community, unveiling an important new product which will enhance dramatically the ‘betting experience’ for shop customers.

ICE will host the launch of the Racing Post’s next generation Touch Bet digital touch-screens which will provide punters with the very best bet-prompting information and live research facility. New developments include richer content, new graphical features, a new wide-screen layout as well as additional sports content.

Kevan Moretti, head of B2B services at the Racing Post said: “Our aim is to provide the shop audience with the same ‘live’ Racing Post editorial, stats and tipping information which on-line punters have access to.”
