ow do you evaluate your participation in G2E?
This was Cammegh’s most productive and enjoyable G2E exhibition since we have been exhibiting in Las Vegas. There were a number of contributing factors which combined to make the show such a success for us. First of all, our stand location was excellent; being on the corner of two main routes in a central position was extremely beneficial. I think the foot fall was up and there seemed to be a renewed confidence with operators from the Americas, Europe and further afield. Also, our products caught the imagination of our customers including our new technically unrivalled Mercury 360 roulette wheel and our Double Shot RNG engine paving the way for a variety of sided bets in roulette.
What was the feedback from visitors and customers?
Extremely positive, from both casino operators and OEM’s. Again, it is the products that cause the most positive feedback. Our new roulette RNG ‘Double Shot’ which generates multiple results for both live and electroinc versions of roulette generated great interest, with customers commenting on how the innovation will bring excitement and revenue to the casino. Using Double Shot, a standard manual roulette wheel is capable of generating multiple results, inviting a wide variety of roulette side bets and increasing the house edge and productivity. The Mercury 360 also received a very positive responce, with its four totally discreet in-rim sensors, electroinc level sensor, time stamp, data log, Ethernet port for remote diagnostics and other features designed to increase security.
What was their response to your products and new launches?
Our customers can see that our new Mercury 360 innovations has their gaming interests at heart, while Double Shot will bring added value to roulette in its various forms, the mechanical and electronic features of the Mercury 360 brings sharper focus on security. We are working on approvals for Double Shot for various jurisdictions, as customers can clearly see the potential it will offer in terms of side bets and increased productivity. Cammegh is a by-word for innovation and engineering excellence, and the new products are consistent with our proud reputation in these areas. Our new product innovations were welcomed by our customers as they see we are addressing the important issues and maintaining focus on our core strengths.
In your opinion, did the show demonstrate a recovery from de global crisis?
Yes, to a certain extent. I commented on an increased footfall and general upturn in confidence by G2E visitors in my response to question 1. Having said that, operators are still cautious and keen to buy the best quality, competitively – both being strong points for Cammegh products.
How was this year for your company?
The summer was relatively quiet, however we have recently won major contracts for Cammegh roulette wheels and Billboard displays from major operators from very different international markets, and these have assisted in Cammegh being ahead of our productivity targets.
Which are yous plans for next year?
Going forward, we have some really exciting patented innovations which we are developing. These developments concern both roulette wheels and winning number diaplays which will maintain our market leading position while also helping our customers to increase productivity and assist with operational management. We are very excited about the future and our existing product range together with the new innovations we are working on will continue to play a big part in that.
