“2010 has been an excellent growth year for Aruze”

(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- A few days after the conclusion of G2E show, Steve Walther, VP of Marketing of Aruze Gaming America, talked about the participation of the company at the event, the feedback from customers and visitors and their response to new product launches, as well as the plans of the company for next year, among other things.

ow do you evaluate your participation in G2E?
This year’s G2E was a phenomenal show both in participation from visitors and Aruze Gaming’s presentation. Our booth had an enormous amount of buzz surrounding it, with a focus on our Paradise Fishing product with its Reel Feel Technology. There was significant interest generated by the trade show and our participation and I think we managed to get noticed by many of the attendees as a serious competitor in the industry.

What was the feedback from visitors and customers?
Visitors and Aruze Gaming customers have shared with us that this year’s G2E saw the industry rise to the next level especially Aruze Gaming. With Paradise Fishing, Lucky Big Wheel and the new Aruze Steppers, attendees saw that Aruze is a viable alternative with first-rate multimedia gaming and entertainment content. Many attendees had only just recently heard of Aruze Gaming from previous tradeshows over the last 18 months, and were quite impressed with the depth of product Aruze presented at this year’s show.

What was their response to your products and new launches?
The response to our product was overwhelming. We know that our content and our designs are impressive, but it is nice to see attendees and customers share in that same opinion.   Our G-DELUXE Multiple Bonus Games we lauded for their entertainment, music, graphics and fun game play while our Lucky Big Wheel was enjoyed by all who wanted something a bit different in a multi-station.  But the highlight of our presentation, and likely the highlight of the entire show was our Paradise Fishing product with its Reel Feel Technology. During the 3 days of the show, there were lines to sit in the chairs to play this game and everyone left with a smile.  We are excited to introduce this game to the public soon.

How did you see this edition regarding G2E 2009?
G2E 2010 was an improvement over 2009.  We felt there were both more general attendees and quality decision making attendees. For the 10th anniversary, it is good to see the show on a rising note again.

In your opinion, did the show demonstrate a recovery form de global crisis?
A growth in attendees and visitors is a promising sign for recovery.  We look forward to those signs translating to bigger capital budgets to spend on revitalizing aging floors with some of these new and exciting products that were on display at G2E.

How was this year for your company?
This year has been an excellent growth year for Aruze. Even in the sluggish economy, Aruze has managed to grow significantly over 2010 and we look forward to continuing that growth through 2011. If there participation and interest in our product at G2E is any indicator, we are in for a very exciting 2011.

Which are yous plans for next year?
Just as 2010 was a great leap forward over 2009 for Aruze, we plan on topping that with even bigger and better products next year.
