W

hat do Offsidegaming’s products and services consist of?
Offsidegaming is a full platform operator specialising in working with strategic marketing partners across Europe and South America by building bespoke brands and solutions for any given market. We have a fully flexible gaming platform and can deliver Live Sportsbetting, Poker, Casino, Forex Trading and Bingo. We also provide our customers with a full suite of payment solutions through our payments service providers and offer a very flexible content management tool. This enables fast deployment of a new to market gaming site in to any market with great branding and design.

What is the South America’s potential for you?
Entering the South American market is very exciting for us as we have been looking to open up in South America for some time. The South American market has proven recession resistance and it is a market that we have been monitoring over the past year. We hope to open a regional office in South or Central America and it will be where we focus most of our efforts during 2011.

Have you already worked with leading Latin American companies? What are their names?
We recently announced the signing of our first South American deal with licensed Argentine operator, Elygra online SA. This is the first business to business deal of its kind for the company and they have launched with a full sports betting, casino and games platform.

In your opinion, what will be the evolution of online gambling in this region?
Personally, I think it will go the same way as Europe. A number of companies will enter the market very quickly and local governments will look to regulate the industry in order to generate tax revenues and ensure player protection.

In the next two or three years, what will be the role and importance of software companies such as Offsidegaming?
The difference between Offsidegaming is that we are also an operator. This means that we understand firsthand how to run a successful operation from back office systems to marketing solutions.  As you can imagine, this is very powerful knowledge.
Put simply, we are able to offer our customers the know-how they require to achieve success from launching an online operation to the running and ongoing maintenance of the site. If a media company or marketing company wanted to enter this market, then we would work with them and through our own experience, can guarantee success.

What are Offsidegaming’s main objectives and projects for South America in the near future?
We are excited by a number of projects planned for Argentina in 2011 and this includes the opening of an office dedicated to the region. Once completed, we will then look to expansion within key markets such as Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
