Konami announces senior leadership appointments
In making the announcement, Satoshi Sakamoto, CEO, said: “Konami has demonstrated its competitive viability and product success with solid and steady growth. This growth is a direct result of having the best people and an executive team committed to results and customer satisfaction. We’re pleased to recognize the contributions of five Senior Directors by promoting each to the position of Vice President in their respective departments.”
The appointments include Tom Jingoli (Chief Compliance Officer/Vice President); Yuji Taniguchi (Vice President R&D Games); Tom Soukup (Vice President R&D Systems); Jack Schaffer (Vice President Customer Service); and Jennifer Martinez (Vice President Human Resources).
“We have to embrace the current market challenges with strong leaders who can work collaboratively across disciplines,” added Sakamoto. “We have the right people combined with innovative products and services so we are well positioned to continue to gain market share. Our executive team which includes our newly appointed Vice Presidents is the team to do just that.”
