Merkur Gaming and Inspired signed partnership for the Italian VLT market

Inspired’s Open VLTTM platform is one of only three approved by AAMS for the Italian VLT market and the second to be installed in the country. The exciting collaboration between the two companies will combine the power of Inspired’s cutting-edge Open VLTTM platform with Merkur Gaming’s popular casino-style cabinets and extensive library of games, developed especially for the Italian VLT market.

Both companies have significant strengths to offer Italian operators and concessionaires. Merkur Gaming is a leading manufacturer and supplier of AWPs and casino slots for the international market, bringing to the strategic partnership a range of ultra-modern cabinet variants and decades of experience in designing top-performing games. Merkur Gaming is a trusted supplier of Comma 6a machines to the Italian market, offering the best choice of high quality cabinets and games. The same standard of high quality cabinets and games will now be available as VLT (Comma 6b) products on Inspired’s powerful Open VLTTM platform.

Inspired, the SBG specialist recently acquired and refinanced by leading London private equity firm Vitruvian Partners, is one of only three companies authorized to supply VLTs in Italy and was the second supplier to go live in venues in Italy. As well as its proven Open VLTTM platform, Inspired also has a leading range of High Definition VLT games and cabinets to bring to the partnership, including ‘Storm’ - the first and only HD GamingTM machine in the marketplace.

VLTs from “Merkur Inspired” are the most content focused in the marketplace. Merkur Gaming is launching a new range of VLT games: a mix of Merkur Gaming’s best performing Comma 6a games, modified for VLTs, and plenty of exciting new releases. As well as quality content from Merkur Gaming, Inspired’s Open VLTTM system also has top games from Inspired’s game development team and other leading content providers including Magic Dreams, Max Gaming, Psiclone and Blueprint.

The “Merkur Inspired” collaboration therefore offers an unprecedented range of cabinets and games, all available on Inspired’s Open VTLTM platform. The range of cabinets includes Inspired’s HD GamingTM widescreen ‘Storm’ and casino-style ‘Prospero’, and Merkur Gaming’s elegant ‘WB4’ upright casino-style cabinet and innovative ‘Slant Top’ with special chrome features and lighting effects, both exclusively manufactured by adp Gauselmann GmbH in Luebbecke, Germany.
