hat did the firm present at Peru Gaming Show?
This PGS edition we have presented diverse and new solutions of systems and machines. On the system’s side, we brought the Bally MultiConnect (BMC) solution, which is designed according to the Peruvian market, considering the application of the online control slots system which is soon to be regulated here, and considering its multi-company/multi-site capacity. This solution is competitive in price, and is being certified GLI-13 in October and also complies and even exceeds the operators’ needs. With regards to slots, we present the Cash Spin cabinet with U-Spin tactile technology that allows the player to spin the wheel of the virtual fortune with his own hand, from the touch screen technology. This cabinet has been awarded in G2E 2009 as the Best Game of the Event and is obtaining remarkable results in the facilities in which it has been installed. We also showcased new cabinets such as Slant Top, with high-definition images and shocking graphics and the Digital Toser collection with Fireball games and 77777 Jackpot.

Which has been the balance of the two-day event? Have you received much public and buyers? Which has been the feedback?
We are really greatly surprised. We have not been able to attend all the customers that visited the stand the way they deserve. The event has been very positive for us.

Which is the importance of the Peruvian market for Bally?
Peru has become a very interesting and strategical market for Bally. In fact, this past six months we opened our local venue. We have a technical staff and a person in charge of the commercial affairs who is based in Lima.

Which is the current situation of the Latin American market? Some people see stagnation in the machine collection in some markets in particular. Which is your vision on the matter?
I think that, in the middle of this hard global crisis, Latin America has been so far one of the less affected markets. However, it is absolutely understandable that operators take more conservative measures in order to try to maintain the profitability of the business. With these restrictions and considering some level of stagnation, this region is one of the most dynamic for our industry globally.

In what events will you be present this year?
We will be present, of course, in SAGSE Buenos Aires and in G2E in Las Vegas. For SAGSE, we are planning great new game releases, cabinets and system demonstrations for customers to evaluate the benefits that our products bring.
