The event had the smallest edition in its history

Peru Gaming Show 2010: Few exhibitors for a clearly local exhibition

(Peru, exclusive With a few exhibitors and a low affluence of public, the traditional Peruvian event had to be moved to another place and this year showed a dull edition, a fact that its organizers assigned to the current situation of the Peruvian market. So the event left its characteristic as traditional event to become a sort of local business round, that counted with the assistance of 1,000 people.

n its two days, the show offered a business space for the Peruvian industry, because, unlike previous years, operators from neighbouring countries did not accompany the show in a massive way, and just the most representative local operators visited its halls.

The event counted with around 25 companies, among them, media of communication and associations, so just six international companies exhibited their products. Among them, the most remarkable were Bally and Casino Technology, companies that showed big booths at Peru Gaming Show 2010, as well as Cash Code, MEI, Gold Club and Heal Technology.

Around ten local companies completed the list of exhibitors, comprised by firms clearly adressed to the provision of equipments and services in the Peruvian market.

“The change of venue in the latest moment was held because, as it was a smaller event, we had to bring more comfort to the exhibitors”, assured Elizabeth Leiva, main organizer of the event, who also pointed that the current situation of the market was the main reason for the sizing of the exhibition. “Most of the companies that are not present this year count with their own  showroom in Lima, and obviously do not find necessary to participate in an event like this”, assured the organizer.
