hat products did you choose to present this year for the Panamanian market and for the regional market as well?
We presented a portfolio of new products. We brought the new Stand Alone range of games, as well as the Mega Winner 2 and Power Max series. We also presented premium products such as Cash Spin and Vegas Hits, that have a new technology that allows the player to throw the wheel or roulette, bringing a sensation of interactivity. Besides, we showcased Cash Wheel. With regards to the hardware, on top of the Digital Tower series (Vegas Hits, Fireball and 77777 Jackpot), we exhibit a new line of Pro Slant cabinets.
Which is the position of the company in the region? What aim do you expect to reach in the short and medium-term?
We are positioned differently in the different countries; in some of them, we have more presence, and we are working actively to reach a leading position in other countries. With regards to the new games and cabinets that are being homologated and that we showcased in this event, definitely Bally is prepared to occupy a place of privilege in each market of the region.
What markets do you plan to target more strongly?
Our aim is to consolidate our leadership in markets where we are already established, and to put a strong focus in Central America and the Caribbean, where Bally has not position its new range of products yet, both the new cabinets and games.
In your opinion, of all the products that are being presented, which are the most required by local operators?
In the region, we are presenting Cash Spin, which achieved the prize as Best Slot G2E 2009 and which, according to the results obtained by the first units, I understand that it will be a success. In the United States, this machine is performing above the 150% of the average of the gambling hall, as well as Fireball and 77777 Jackpot. We also have expectations in the Pro Slant cabinet, a new release with dual screen of 22’’ (lower) and 26” (upper), without glasses.
