Interview to Álvaro Nores, VP of Aristocrat Technologies for Latin America

“We started our operations in Mexico with important customers”

(Mexico, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Aristocrat Technologies established its own office in Mexico last May. Álvaro Nores, VP of the firm for Latin America, is responsible of the supervision and management of the business strategy in this country. In an interview with Yogonet.com, he talked about his goals and the reasons of this initiative.

hy did you decide to open an office in Mexico?
Mexico represents a great potential for Aristocrat as long as the Class II regulated game expands in this country. Recently, we started our operations in Mexico with important customers and we will continue searching for opportunities in the whole region. We are convinced that the opening of our offices in Mexico City will position our presence strongly, allowing us to offer gaming products and services highly lucrative for our customers.

What do the installations consist of? Which is the main aim of this office? What services do you offer?
We currently have a commercial office where we perform the 100% of our operations.  Aristocrat has already started installing machines in the main operators of the country, in several of these locations, Aristocrat games have rapidly placed as favorites and have been valued by experimented players. So we took the strategic decision to open the offices in the City of Mexico (Av. de Las Palmas 425 -1401 in the area of Lomas de Chapultepec) to count with a space for technical training and service, a showroom for our customers and the proper infrastructure to support our operations. This office offers the necessary infrastructure to bring the adequate support to the sales and operations in this country.

What products are you currently offering in this market?
In the latest Mexican show, we have had the chance to show our wide portfolio of games and platforms available in this market. Aristocrat has the chance to offer its most popular game categories, including Multiline, 50 Line, 100 Line, Reel Power, Xtra Reel Power and Super Reel Power, Power Pay, Standalone Progressives (SAP) and Double Standalone Progressives (DSAP). As well as successful games such as Tiki Torch, Queen of the Nile, Sun and Moon, 50 Lions, 100 Lions, Miss Kitty, Indian Dreaming, Whale of CashI, 5 Dragons, Zorro, Mr Woo Moonlight Market and Corrida de Toros.

Have you planned the opening of other offices in Latin America?
At this moment, we are focused in our recent opening and in the development of our business from our offices in Buenos Aires and Mexico. Our main interest is focused in offering more and better services to our customers and their operations in order to become a strategic partner of its business.

In which events will you be present in the near future?
In Latin America, this year we will be participating in SAGSE Panama and SAGSE Buenos Aires.
