iorgio Abbiati explained that they had shown a number of new products including new styles of American Roulette Wheels, Winning Number Displays and an exciting new patented Baccarat and Black Jack games with additional side bets for the player. “The show was very successful for Abbiati as it allowed us to network with new and old customers and show our new products plus discussing and understanding the local markets requirements”, he commented.
Terry Clarke explained further: “While we had our traditional tables on show manufactured in Italy they all had unique features, the Black Jack Table, with a unique shaped base as used on the Queen Mary II, a Bean Shaped Baccarat Table that can be seen in the high limit rooms in Macau, our American Roulette laser wheel that is being linked to a Winning Number Display, we also had a direct link to the Elaut terminals to enable the customers to select and play live roulette using the Abbiati table or automated Elaut Roulette at the same player terminal.”
Abbiati also displayed their Overhead Reader for sending the winning number to the display that has the unique feature of automatic calibration and setting after being placed on the wheel top rim.
Giorgio Abbiati commented that there had been a lot of interest in the Abbiati RFID value chips and plaques which use the Magellan 13.56 MHz PJM technology that offers the full turnkey solution for Casino operators and shows in real time the movement, security, verification and control of all gaming chips and plaques in the casino.
Abbiati finally concluded that the show had been a great success, and added: “With our joint venture partners RGB, we have the winning combination to satisfy our customer’s requirements in Asia.”
