Interview to DLV - Chairman of the Board Mihails Volokotkins

“Visitors have shown really high interest on our new products”

(Exclusive Yogonet.com from Macau).- Yogonet interviewed Mihails Volokotkins, Chairman of the Board of DLV, who was present at recent G2E event. There, he talked about the novelties that the company presented and also gave his opinion on the show and commented the market strategy of the firm.

s an international supplier of the gaming industry, which novelties did the company decide to exhibit this year at G2E Asia?
We have decided to show two types of products: Jewel Jackpot multigame with 10 games, all of them with 9 winning lines. This multigame is special with its mystery progressive jackpot, which can be stand alone as well as linked up to 256 slots. Some of the customers do not have hugh casinos and they can’t sometimes place there hugh jackpot signs. So, we have a good opportunity for them, and just use the upper screens of the slots showing the jackpot levels. This multigame we have shown is also translated into Chinese language.

And also the Diamond Games Premium III multigame. Here we have combined two novelties: the new Slant Top cabinet with two 22” wide screens and new multigame, which includes new games with 10 and 20 winning lines as well as a poker game.

How did you see the show this year?
It is the second year in which our company is exhibiting at Macau show, thus we don’t have a big experience from the years before. But if we compare with the last year, we could say that this show has changed to a more qualitative status, it means that all the exhibitors have shown more high-class products with features made only for Asian players. We were also very happy with the new visitors and our existing partners visiting our stand. They have shown really high interest on our new products.

Which are the most important products that DLV commercializes in Macau?
It is Jewels Jackpot multigame with mystery progressive jackpot, which is already working on Asian market and is known to the players.

In a market where players seem to prefer table games, which is the strategy of the company for placing its developments?
Actually we are not splitting the markets on real and electronic casinos. Of course we are concentrating in electronic video games on the first line. We are just going to the places where we see the best opportunities for us as for the manufacturer. By the way, our slots are already working in big casinos with a lot of table games, and the slots are performing well there. We are developers and it is very easy for us to make any possible modifications on the games requested sometimes by our customers. And, of course, we are working now on electronic roulette and Black Jack version for our multigames.

In which other international markets is DLV currently present?
Home market for DLV is, of course Europe on the first line, simply because the company is located and working in Europe since 1994. Our products are well known and good performing in countries such as Latvia, Romania, Serbia, Ireland, Albania. In the meantime we have made customized projects for Italy and Spain. But DLV is also expanding and its products have already been presented in Latin American countries, for example, Costa Rica and Colombia. With regards to Asian countries, our slots are working in Cambodian casinos in Poipet and Sihanoukville, and in July the first slots will arrive in Nepal, too.
