Helios Cabinet makes its first appearance in Asia

WMS displays over 40 next-generation products for the Asian market at G2E Asia

(Macau).- WMS Gaming is exhibiting over 40 products for the Asian market at G2E Asia 2010. Its portfolio of products, enabled with innovative, proprietary technologies and player-appealing game content, are being displayed at booth 915 at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center in Macau.

“For the first time, we are introducing our new Helios platform to the areas of the Asian market where a value priced gaming cabinet with unique content can offer an appropriate return on investment for operators. In addition, we are planning to exhibit an extensive range of products including our new Bluebird xD gaming cabinet as well as our latest games for the Bluebird2 cabinet. Our product line-up for G2E Asia 2010 is a testament to WMS’ proven and expanding ability to leverage our ‘Culture of Innovation’ to address worldwide gaming markets with new and next generation products that deliver tremendous value for casino operators as well as unique, unparalleled gaming experiences for players,” Salat concluded.

The broad product lineup ranges from WMS’ next generation foundational technologies – Community Gaming, Sensory Immersion Gaming and Transmissive Reels Gaming – to a robust library of standalone and local area progressive games. Highlights include:

Bluebird xD – WMS is showcasing the sleek Bluebird2 cabinet and debut the new, state-of-the-art Bluebird xD cabinet. This stunning, first-of-its-kind cabinet combines the best of an upright and a slant in one cabinet.  Featuring an ergonomic design with 22” LCD upright screens in a slant form and emotive lighting to enhance game play, the Bluebird xD delivers players with a first class gaming experience.

Sensory Immersion Gaming – Its Sensory Immersion product line is represented by the new Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers game, for an unmatched sensory experience enhanced by real-time 3D graphics, a built-in BOSE 3Space audio system and a mesmerizing top box.

WMS also display innovative games at G2E Asia 2010:

G+ 5-Reel Mechanical games: Including all the brand recognizable and proven, player- favorite G+ mechanics. New features include Bonus Jackpots, Super Big Win and color accentuated reel lighting effects.

Max Win 5x4 – The industry's first 5x4 mechanical reel game is enabled with the player-pleasing Transmissive Reels technology and features stacked wilds and stacked symbols that deliver a high-frequency hit ratio. Additional unique features include a special reveal feature and color-accentuated reel lighting effects.

High Denomination Video and Mechanical Reel Games –Bluebird2 exclusives from WMS designed specifically for the quarter, dollar and even higher denom market. These products feature the popular G+ series of games to maximize player familiarity and confidence, while also including an option for a stand-alone progressive.  For the mechanical reel high denomination segment, WMS has new single line, six level progressive games for two product families. Hot Hot Super Respin Progressive and Life of Luxury Progressive were designed for the high-limit room and quarter slot players and are available in 3, 4 and 5 coin configurations.

At Local Area Progressive category it showcases new products including Goldfish Race for the Gold and Hot Hot Super Jackpot. In Goldfish Race for the Gold, people can win up to four progressives at once. Follow-up to the player-popular Goldfish, this four-level, mystery-triggered Local Area Progressive builds on the success of the original with the player-favorite fish dropping from the top screen of this Bluebird2 exclusive to enhance winning combinations.

WMS’ Innovation Series feature unique player interfaces and revolutionary game mechanics that add completely new dimensions of game play for video reel players.  This year at G2E Asia the firm showcases exciting new themes including Jewels of Africa, Mystical Dragons and St Petersburg from the player favorite series Spinning Streak, Money Burst and Super Multi-Pay.

WMS is also launching the new, value-oriented Helios cabinet to provide players with unique content in regional markets around the world.  Powered by the N-Able platform, Helios game offerings include standalone games with TwinHit Dual-level Standalone Progressive functionality as a standard option, O.N. Product games featuring the new Community Gaming experience Group Wins, and Game Pack video-reel and poker multi-games.

Group Wins addresses the Community Gaming segment of the slot floor, bringing the excitement of a table game environment to the slot floor by allowing players to play collaboratively and enjoy game excitement together. The offering was showcased with the Line Plus series, with the Venetian Romance and Sexy Mermaids games.

Anyway and Anyway Plus – Anyway offers 243 to win through scatter pay combinations and a volatile game experience thanks to straightforward play. Anyway Plus enhances this experience by offering 1024 ways to win.

Game Pack is a versatile multi-game product series, which provides operators with the ability to deliver a number of game titles in one cabinet, and Feature Pack Multi-Games offer players increased flexibility by allowing them to select both their favorite game and their favorite feature. 3 games and 3 features are included.
