he G&L Technology Impact Award will be given to the company whose product the G&L Community’s Advisory Board and Roundtable Colleagues feel best exemplifies true industry impact via innovative technology that has the ability to enhance revenue and or reduce costs in the most significant manner.
Examples may include technology in the form of more exciting games or promotions that get patrons and or guests through the door; or products that automate costly processes to make them more efficient. G&L Community’s Advisory Board and Roundtable Colleagues are comprised of gaming and hospitality property CIOs, CEOs and CFOs recognized as the leading industry technology and strategic thought leaders in North America.
The award winner will be honored at the 2010 G&L Roundtable on November 15, 2010. The award recipient will be authorized to display the official award logo and will be provided the opportunity to address the G&L Roundtable Executives at the private G&L Roundtable forum and featured in the winter edition of Gaming & Leisure Magazine. In addition to the winner, who will receive the Platinum Award, G&L will also recognize both the Gold and Bronze winners at the G&L Roundtable with similar rights and privileges.
“The concept for offering the G&L Technology Impact Award was born out of the G&L Roundtable 2009 discussions among the executives on just how critically important the need for increasing revenue and/or reducing costs is, especially now given the current economy. The Board is looking for technology that provides measurable and proven results in increasing revenue and or decreasing costs. It seems appropriate to take this dialogue to the next level by recognizing the provider who most exemplifies true, proven measurable innovation in this critical area within the combined industries. Of course, the significance of the award is the fact that key gaming and hospitality industry leaders comprised within the G&L Advisory Board will choose the recipient. We’re excited to offer this award and continuously humbled to be a part of the amazing industry thought leaders within the G&L Community,” stated Jeannie Caruso, Publisher of G&L Magazine and host of the G&L Roundtable.
The G&L Roundtable is a private peer-to-peer forum for North American gaming and hospitality CIOs, CFOs, COOs and CEOs held annually. This year the Roundtable will be held November 14th and 15th, 2010 at Encore and Wynn Resort.
The nomination packet must be completed and received by 9 a.m. PDT Sept 20, 2010. Submission instructions can be found within the nomination packet.
