nder the agreement, Moss will promote Aristocrat games to operators in the Illinois Video Gaming Terminal market and will distribute three of Aristocrat’s popular cabinets: the MAV 500, Crown Slant and the Viridian 19”.
In July 2009, the State of Illinois legalized the use of Video Gaming Terminals (VGT’s) at licensed liquor locations. As a part of the Video Gaming Act, VGT´s may be sold through a distributor or direct from the manufacturer. Aristocrat selected Moss because of the company’s distribution and service experience and strong relationships with operators.
Aristocrat COO Seamus McGill said, “We are extremely excited about partnering with Moss. The Illinois marketplace is perfect for our proven game mathematics, game play features, and Aristocrat´s experience in similar regulated market segments around the world. We wanted to work with the very best distributor to deliver our products to Illinois, and we believe we have found that in Moss.”
Moss Gaming President Terry Moss said, ¨We are a focused and aggressive distributor and know what the Illinois operators are looking for when investing their hard-earned dollars. We will provide high-earning products at an affordable price to operators. Aristocrat has proven its game quality and performance in the Midwest by capturing over 25 percent of the video gaming market in casinos. They provide quality games that players enjoy and repeatedly return to.”
Over the past 50 years, Moss has earned a widespread reputation of quality, service and speed to market for a wide range of coin-operated amusement products throughout the Midwest. Moss currently operates across the USA with offices in Des Moines, Kansas City, Minneapolis and now Chicago. They have recently acquired a 21,300 sq. foot facility in Wooddale, Ill., which will open this month. They are preparing another facility in southern Illinois, which will open later this year. Moss has also recruited a team of highly experienced staff to run their Illinois operations.
