he meeting of the Latin American Corporation of Lotteries and Bets of the State (Cibelae) will take place April 12-14 in the Portuguese capital. It will be held on the verge of another event organized by the World Lottery Association (WLA), next May 18-20 in the Mexican city of Acapulco.
The event in Lisbon will be inaugurated by Cibelae President, Roberto Armando López, and will count with the participation, among others, of the representative of the Spanish National Lottery, Cristina Revuelta, who will present the basis of the management and corporate social responsibility in gaming, and Guillem Salvans, from Lottery of Catalonia.
Among the objectives of the meeting, he remarks: "the promotion of international agreements between the entities that tend to the territorial or juridictional preservation in the games of chance operation in the games of chance operation, as well as the issuance of common policies to fight illegal gaming", according to Lotenal.
Brazilian Elaine Oliveira, from Caixa Economica Federal, will talk in Portugal about the codes of ethics, and Ana María Rodríguez Villalta, representative of El Salvador, on how to act in a responsible way.
Cibelae Vice president and general director of Lotenal, Benjamín González Roaro, who will treat the issue of the "Social action in Latin American Lotteries", stated that, on top of luck, lottery must guarantee "certainty, transparency, security and responsible social management,” indicated the press release.
The conclusions of the meeting will be brought April 14th, and will be in charge of Mario Prudkin, from the Argentinian National Lottery, added the note.
