Rivers Casino’s operator, Holdings Acquisition Co. L.P., is the most recent of the casino companies in Pennsylvania to request their hearing for the newly legalized table games. The petition will be review, with public comment and evidence collection being the top priorities.
This hearing will begin at 10:00 AM and is open to the public. Community groups, officials, and private citizens are entitled to present their oral and/or written testimony, which will be submitted before the board. Those who wish to contribute may register in for the hearings.
According to Senate Bill 711, or Act 1 of 2010, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is entitled to enact their investigation of whether or not these casinos would be entitled to include table games on their gaming floor. The slot parlor casinos will now become closer to a Vegas style gaming center, quite like the best USA casinos that are available.
Though a large array of information is required to make it past the petition stage, this is a necessary beginning to a long process. Even those casinos who had begun the process in the earliest months of the year will more than likely be waiting until the Summer season before they actually see the tables moved into the casinos.
Poker games, blackjack, roulette and much more are set to be included into these casinos.
