The conference will focus on helping casinos maximize use of Bally Systems, server-based technology; utilize new marketing, promotions, business-intelligence tools to gain competitive advantage

We are thrilled that more than 400 customer users have registered to attend our Systems User Conference 7, which is ahead of last year and means that there is a great deal of interest in Bally’s current and new system and server-based technology offerings,” said Richard Haddrill, CEO of Bally Technologies. “In this two-day conference, we will help our customers maximize their investment in Bally Systems to gain a competitive edge, while giving them an evolutionary roadmap to our newest technology and future offerings.”

Ramesh Srinivasan, Bally Technologies’ Executive Vice President – Systems, added, “I’m pleased to welcome our customer users and partners for the seventh year in row, and I’m very proud that, despite the challenging economy, we are investing more than ever in this important event. Helping our customers drive new revenue, streamline operations, and add powerful systems-driven marketing and promotions programs is good not only our customers, but the industry as a whole.”

In addition to regular breakout sessions, attendees will be able to attend a series of plenary sessions on both days of the conference. These general sessions will cover such systems products as Bally’s iVIEW and award-winning iVIEW DM player interface at the gaming machine; Bally Business Intelligence; Bally Command Center; CoolSign integrated property-wide media management; and the Elite Bonusing Suite.

Additionally, attendees can take advantage of a special hands-on training session at Bally Technologies’ global headquarters on Tuesday, March 23. These fast-track training sessions will also be held the day after the conclusion of the conference on Friday, March 26.

Several new systems technology innovations will be spotlighted during Systems User Conference 7, which draws Bally Systems customers from around the world.

One of these is Bally’s Systems Version 11, which provides new, easy-to-use graphical user interfaces, vertical and horizontal scalability, state-of-the-art distributed architectures, and internationalization support across multiple languages and currencies. Bally’s SDS Version 11 supports both the Microsoft Windows and UNIX software platforms, as well as Microsoft SQL Server and DB2 databases off a common Java-based codebase, while ACSC Version 11 features a new graphical user interface and universal card on the iSeries platform.

Other key technologies that will be highlighted include Bally Business Intelligence, an advanced application that allows casino operators to analyze and visualize the extensive data gathered throughout their business enterprise; and Bally Biometric Recognition, the first product to incorporate distributed surveillance and biometric recognition to handle major business needs such as player identification, self exclusion, and marketing to non-players’ club patrons at the point of play.

Bally will also demonstrate its CoolSign Media-Management, designed to allow operators to control all of their digital media, even across multiple locations, from a centralized console.

Bally CoolSign integrates with all digital displays as well as Bally’s  iVIEW displays and iVIEW Display Manager, an intelligent controller that allows casinos to present system content or marketing messages on the main game screen in a smaller inset screen without interrupting play.
