(UK, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Automated Transactions presented innovative products in IGE 2010 last week. There, Yogonet.com interviewed Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed, director of the company, who commented the characteristics of a new combined development of hopper and bill payer/ recycler.

W

hat products did Automated Transaction choose to exhibit in the current IGE edition?
This year, the star we presented is an authentic multi-coin hopper. It is exclusive up to date, because it can andel up to 11 different coins, with a payment speed of 12 coins per second.
And the other product is a ticket reader with payer and recycler. These two products operating together are capable of handling practically all the cash in a machine; the operator does not need any more.

Which was the response of the visitors?
The truth is that, with regards to the hopper, it is causing a big interest due to the fact that it is a unique product, because there is no similar product in the market so far. Specially when it is operating together with the bill recycler: people acknowledges many applications that may be performed with this products.

Considering that this event, in a way, is the beginning of the year for the industry, Which are the projections that the company has for 2010, considering how hard was 2009 with regards to the international economy?
There is no doubt we are living difficult times. I imagine it is the same for all the people involved in the industry. With these new products, due to its cost-quality balance, the interest is focused in applications that did not exist so far, and we are concentrating our expectations in that, because it opens many business opportunities.

Which will be the main markets to which you will be focused this year?
For those new products, I think the most important market for us is the European one, where there is a demand and a concrete need for this type of products. Maybe for the markets outside Europe it is still very soon.

Which is the position of the company in Latin America and how do you expect to develop this year?
We have always had a very good position, and we will keep on working to maintain it and make it grow with a better range of products, and with more market share, which will be covered through our own tenders or with third party distributors.
