International sales of sbX continue to grow

Italian Casino de la Vallee selects IGT’s sbX server-based experience solution

(Italy) - International Game Technology continues to see the global adoption of its sbX Experience Management System expand as it announced the first Italian sale of its sbX system to Casino de la Vallée.

We are looking forward to becoming one of the leading operators of server-based gaming technology in Europe and the operational benefits and enhanced guest experience that sbX will bring,” said Luca Frigerio, sole administrator of Casino de la Vallée.

“Not only does sbX allow operators, such as Casino de la Vallée, open access to the industry’s largest and ever-expanding library of server-based games, but the sbX Floor Manager and sbX Analytics and Media Manager modules empower management teams to understand player preferences and trends, to create a dynamic slot floor by deploying proven games and customized media content, whenever and wherever needed,” added Ali Civile, sales director of IGT Europe.

Casino de la Vallée’s decision to install sbX comes soon after the largest implementation of sbX to date at ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter in Las Vegas, which launched in December 2009.

Casino de la Vallée is located in Saint Vincent, Italy, and currently operates close to 500 slot machines. Once it has completed a planned expansion in the middle of this year, the new area will have close to 80 % IGT machines with more than 25 % of these being from IGT’s exclusive line of premium products.

“Our decision to add another 100 of IGT’s latest AVP machines and the sbX system is a strong indication that we believe it is the best server-based gaming solution available today,” Frigerio said.
