More than 3,000 products to be launched at IGE

IGE 2010 starts today a new edition at Earls Court in London

Taking place across 26-28 January, the International Gaming Expo is set to provide gaming professionals from all over Europe and beyond with all the necessary tools they require to get 2010 off to the best possible start.

Products presented by the main suppliers will be complemented by a plethora of expert analysis and debate, high profile product launches, social networking opportunities and a vast spread of ‘total gaming solutions’, the like of which has never been seen before in London, revealed show organisers Clarion Gaming. Alongside, the co-located International Casino Exhibition Interactive (ICEi) has more than 100 remote gaming firms from 20 jurisdictions.

Julian Graves, Clarion Gaming Managing Director, commented the novelties of the current edition.”From a land-based casino perspective, visitors will be able to see some 33 first time exhibitors drawn from 18 countries,” and then added: “The casino debutants, whose combined exhibit space will total more than 1,000 square metres, join a further 53 remote gaming specialists also making their IGE debut within the ICEi section of the exhibition.”

“One of the beauties of this exhibition is that it's the event where trends start and begin. We are looking at a breathtaking 3,000 products being launched at IGE. The best thing is the knowledge that somewhere out in the legions of  innovations, smart technology and great thinking there are products that will change the face of gaming possibly forever,” Graves pointed.

The highlights of the main companies are the following:

WMS Gaming debuts 100 WMS and Orion Gaming products. 79 games from WMS, its most ever for international markets, including 39 unique titles on the popular Bluebird2 platform; 30 titles enabled with next-generation capabilities for WMS’ four foundational technology platforms and the international introduction of the Bluebird xD gaming cabinet 26 games featured on Orion’s new Helios gaming cabinet including Orion’s popular Game Pack multi-game offering; the networked gaming Glamour Cash series and Group Wins titles offering community gaming bonus round experiences.

Octavian is showcasing systems and games solutions such as Spot The Ball, games for the Italian AWP market and Symphony CE. Symphony CE (Casino Edition) is the firm’s end-to-end slots and tables casino management system, which offers integrated TITO, cashless, player tracking and jackpot modules.

At stand 5240, BetStone is demonstrating its extensive games portfolio to attendees at this year’s IGE, which will be deployed on BetStone’s Server Based Gaming Platform, along with some of the more recently launched games including: Ramesses Riches, Bars and Stripes, Cashville.

Besides, Bally highlights innovation and customer partnership, presenting an extensive assortment of systems, games and server-based technology, featuring 67 games for Class III, Class II, central determination and VLT markets worldwide. The firm will introduce its sleek new Pro Series Slant-Top cabinet. It also showcases new games from its SpinNation series of spinning-wheel video and mechanical-reel slots, as well as new world-class Version 11 SDS slot-management system.

Among the latest novelties, Unidesa Gaming & Systems is present at stand 3300 with its new developments: “Pick a Poker” and “Legend of the Gods”, its star product. This video and reel multi-progressive is presented in the new “In Action Reels” cabinet, and it is formed by five models, all of them with different maths and with a common roulette game, with which it may win credits and one of the four progressives.

The manufacturer of casino playing cards Fournier shows its new range of "Dura+" table layouts and the Security Baccarat Shoe, a product aimed to increase security at Baccarat tables by reading the cards through a barcode and showing the results once the hand is finished.

Along with its industry-leading GEN2 Universal printer, FutureLogic is exhibiting several of its game-changing peripherals in stand 4250. One product on display is Eclipse universal ticket and receipt printer. It offers the print speed, rugged construction, security features and flexibility. It also exhibits the template-based system PromoNet promotional couponing solution, the TableXchange printer/scanner, a device that effectively brings TITO gaming to table games, and the CouponXpress desktop TITO coupon printer.

IGT is introducing first-to-market innovations and groundbreaking new products and technologies at the event. It shows Network Systems products including sbX and IGT Casinolink and Winner’s Choice Multi-Game. Its most innovative technologies (3-D games, MLD, AVP and Multi-Games) are presented in a complete solution – IGT DynamiX. The Sex and the City Multi-Level Progressives is the first Premium Products game to feature IGT’s top-performing MultiPLAY game interface. The new Center Stage Series makes its international debut with Wheel of Fortune Triple Spin Video Slots.

Atronic booth number 3015 features exciting linked gaming concepts, player-tested cabinets, a line-up of new core games with innovative features as well as the launch of new signature products and systems solutions. People may see the latest addition is its Community Bonus Series. Deal or No Deal Join’N Play challenges players to compete for the best deal and Master Roulette brings back its smashing 90’s hit product. Its professionals will also be on hand to present Crystal.net, the new evolution of casino floor systems, maximising revenues and streamlining casino operations.

A total of 168 gaming machines at booth number 3035 provide a truly profound insight into Novomatic’s world of gaming. The presentation encompasses all areas of gaming: traditional slots, gripping jackpot installations, leading multiplayer implementations based on INDIGO NUII (Novo Unity II), INDIGO VLT, the new server based video lottery solution as well as Crown Technologies money changers.

Making the biggest splash on stand 3415 is Aristocrat’s licensed JAWS Hyperlink product, already introduced at last G2E event. It is also debuting two Triple Standalone Progressive games at IGE, Hi Octane and Hillbillions. These feature-rich TSAP games offer a three-level jackpot opportunity in addition to the base game, with prize levels shown on top-box jackpot meters.

Playtech presents its complete suite of cutting-edge gaming platforms, including online casino, poker, bingo, mobile, TV, sportsbook and server-supported gaming. One of the exciting new products introduced at IGE 2010 is Sports Betting.

In addition to its core products, GPI once again features live demonstrations of its newest developments in RFID readers and application software for casinos. The highlight of the RFID Cage application is the new countertop reader that works in three dimensions. The firm is also introducing its integrated RFID roulette application, which monitors and tracks bets, game activity and chip change operations automatically.

Magic Dreams is releasing the new X10-Xtend platform, developed to strenghten the games and jackpots of the firm. It allows fast gaming conversions and a better technical service. Additionally, 50-line Xcalibur is one of the new games lauched in this platform.

New for IGE is the addition of Craps game functionality to the award winning TouchTable MultiPLAY platform from TCS John Huxley. This product identifies individual players and specific bets with its Touch ID technology – worldwide patents pending. The firm will also use IGE to launch the latest innovations in Roulette: two brand new Roulette wheels (Double Action and Gemini) as well as its ground breaking Gaming Floor Live.

Ainsworth Game Technology is exhibiting its latest outstanding GamePlus products. The showcase bank will be the latest 1c four level link progressive; Players Paradise, with three Vegas-themed 40 & 50Line titles: “Vegas Fantasy”, “Vegas Fortune” and “Vegas Fever”.

Finally, Alfastreet is preparing a debut of a new Multi-player game TAGO and a completely redesigned KENO Multi-player. During the traditionally busy London Show, the firm will also present its complete range of Multi-player products for the upcoming year.

“We remain very confident that, despite the recession, IGE 2010 has all of the necessary credentials to be a really strong gaming super show,” Graves concluded.
