Asked why such a prominent position, the company founder and Managing Director, Johannes Weissengruber clearly states, “APEX gaming has grown to be a major player in the gaming market by clearly adhering to its strategy - namely to provide gaming operators with tried and tested games for each individual market in the highest quality cabinets possible. This year we will have a wealth of new products alongside our trusted product range. The feedback has been so positive that we felt that this prime position at the IGE truely reflects our position in the market place”.

Weissengruber and his team are particularly looking forward to the world premiere at the IGE of their latest electronic table game innovation – the Quikker®. APEX gaming kindly invites IGE visitors to get to know this unique and exciting game that is patented by APEX gaming. Players of black jack and roulette will be particularly drawn to Quikker®. The first step is for the player to place the bet. This can be an individual bet or a whole combination of bets.

The player can bet on the possible combination of what these cards can be, in a way similar to a player who bets on a number in roulette. The bet can be on a particular set of numbers, such as 5 to 10 or 11 to 14. Indeed the player has a whole variety of betting choice, be it pairs, card colour, card number range. Then, as with black jack, the player receives two cards. The payout rate depends on mathematical probability.

The pay-out rate thus depends on the combination of cards chosen. The current version has a pay-out rate set at 98%. The beauty of Quikker is therefore is it a simple and quick game to play where the player has the possibility to win up to one hundred times of the stake placed. Depending on the bet placed, small player wins can often occur – thus cementing the entertainment value of Quikker. The intelligent combination of the game philosophy of Quikker between black jack and roulette means that Quikker will attract a wide range of players who will quickly understand and enjoy playing Quikker.

A major advantage for operators is that they purchase not only Quikker - Texas Hold’em Poker is also included. Therefore, operators can choose which game to offer at the times of the day that best suits them and their customers. The Electronic Quikker and Poker Table is available as a six-player (LS-06), eight-player (LS-08) or ten-player version (LS-10) version. Customers have a wide range of table colour to choose from – namely red, blue, green and black.

The components reflect the highest quality available – such as the 17” touchscreen monitors, the bill acceptors and smart card readers. The software has been designed to be user friendly with multi-lingual screen menus. Furthermore, maintenance is simple so that operators can profit from this popular electronic card table for a long time to come.

Pre-empting its popularity, APEX gaming offers the possibility to link Quikker tables to cater for tournaments. This gives operators the further flexibility to offer guests special events in their establishments. Quikker will be on display at the APEX gaming stand number 3070 in Hall 2 at the forthcoming IGE exhibition in London.
