SEGA enters online gambling arena

(UK).- SEGAGames has been awarded a full interactive online gambling licence by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, paving the way for the launch of SEGA branded online poker and casino sites powered by Playtech.

Developed and powered by AIM-listed gaming software developer Playtech Limited, players will have access to both SEGApoker.com and SEGAcasino.com through SEGA's proprietary single wallet platform SEGAPass.

Players are likely to benefit from a host of branded games developed by SEGA, including the likes of SEGA mascot Sonic the HedgeHog, Virtua Fighter and House of the Dead.
