The G2E tradeshow floor will be heavily populated

GSA to debate about its protocol standards at G2E 2009

(US).- “Ready. Set. Grow!” is the message the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) is telling the gaming industry at G2E 2009. From booth 2192, GSA will be discussing how its protocol standards are helping the industry be ready for the future and to be set to grow with new technologies.


he G2E tradeshow floor will be heavily populated with GSA member companies who understand the importance of standardized protocols and who have participated in developing GSA’s landmark and award-winning standards.

For example, GSA’s Game to System (G2S) Protocol has been named “Best Productivity-Enhancement Technology” by Global Gaming Business Magazine, one of the “Top Three International Gaming Products” by IGWB Magazine; one of Casino Journal magazine’s “Top 3 Most Innovative Products”; and one of Casino Enterprise Management’s “Top 10 Slot Floor Technologies.”

GSA has also developed the System to System (S2S) and the Gaming Device Standard (GDS) standards. Additionally, GSA has created GSA University, a training program for engineers to learn and deploy GSA standards correctly.

Created in 1998, GSA is an international trade association that creates benefits for gaming manufacturers, suppliers, operators and regulators. GSA facilitates the identification, definition, development, promotion, and implementation of open standards to enable innovation, education, and communication for the benefit of the entire industry.  Since its incorporation, GSA has members representing a wide cross section of the global gaming industry.

Platinum members include AMX; Aristocrat Technologies Inc.; Bally Technologies, Inc. (BYI); GTECH Corporation (LTO); Harrah’s Entertainment; International Game Technology (IGT); Konami Gaming Inc.; MEI; NCR Corporation (NCR); Seminole Tribe of Florida; Techlink Entertainment International Ltd. and WMS Gaming Inc. (WMS).
